This color was designed for my 10 year anniversary and it reflected my new knowledge of dyeing with acorns and indigo that I had grown. Only by growing your own indigo can you get the pale green in this yarn, although perhaps I over dyed it with the grey and blue too much. The blue is from my usual indigo extract, and the grey is from acorns grown by my pin oak tree!
Just so you know, the loose hank in the gallery picture shows off the 3 colors better. Usually I re-skein each hank which mixes up the colors and better represents what the yarn will look like when it’s knit or crocheted, but I left one hank AS I DYED it, so you can see the colors in it a little clearer.
